This page is dedicated to my twin sister, Angela. Angela was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a Chicopee Police Officer. She exemplified the qualities of a dedicated police officer and public servant. Angela possessed the ability to establish trust and foster unity and respect within the community. She had a special connection with the youth in our area, often seen engaging and shooting hoops with them at the Boys and Girls Club or checking in on her district's children.

As a pediatric emergency nurse, I am deeply moved, humbled, and honored when patients and parents recognize me as her twin and share stories of Angela and the impact she continues to have on their lives. Her memory serves as a guiding light from above.

When not working, Angela enjoyed creating memories with her fiancé, Lauren, and their beloved fur babies, Malikai and Charlie. Malikai, the love of her world passed away shortly after Angela, a testament to the bond they shared. Angela took great pride in being an aunt to our army of nieces and nephews, demonstrating her immense capacity for love. Spending time with family was of great value to Angela. Angela is the daughter any parent would be proud to have, the sister and twin we strive to be more like every day, and the soldier and police officer that exemplifies true honor and pride.

Together, we can honor Angela's legacy by spreading love and unity. The Angela Santiago Foundation aims to continue her work by empowering and inspiring children through education, sports, fitness, and recreation. Let us carry on her remarkable achievements and support the future generation.

With love and gratitude,

Shavonne
